This Saturday Dec. 21st come for an extraordinary community gathering. We’ll watch the merriest waterway parade of festive Christmas Ships decked out in twinkle lights cruising up and down the Willamette river — a local tradition since 1954 — and best of all, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna!
SaunaGlo is proud to partner with our amazing friends at Alma Mobile Saunas and sauna tent lovers North Shore Sauna, who are providing the on-site event saunas for this extra special pop-up solstice soirée.
It’s the 70th Annual Christmas Ships Parade on the downtown Milwaukie riverfront! An annual celebration at Milwaukie Bay Park is a can’t-miss event for the whole family. Warm by a bonfire and purchase some tasty treats. Enjoy hot dogs and chili along with fresh brews on tap in the Beer Garden thanks to The Beer Store. Don’t forget to grab a hot chocolate and cookies or coffee and pie!
Below are the tentative times for the parade, but the schedule is subject to change based on weather, currents, boating safety or other reasons beyond control of the Christmas Ships:
4:30 pm — Festival begins!
5:30 pm — First cruise-by of the parade fleet along Milwaukie Bay
7:00 pm — Second cruise-by of the parade fleet along Milwaukie Bay
7:30 pm — Festival concludes, and the fun continues at SaunaGlo: 1915 SE Jefferson
