Bing in the New Year!
Bing in the New Year is a free, outdoor, family-friendly New Year's Eve event in downtown Milwaukie that culminates with a 9 p.m. (East Coast midnight) "cherry drop" lowering, by crane, of a 7-foot, lighted Bing cherry. The Milwaukie Arts Committee organizes the event.
For our second year, we are growing the event to include a stage, more vendors and food, and more performances!
Bing in the New Year will be 6-9 p.m. Dec. 31, 2024 at Main & Harrison (site of the Milwaukie Farmers Market). We will have live music, Chinese cultural performances, food vendors, a beer and mead garden on site, and a cherry drop at 9 pm. In addition, many businesses will be open in downtown Milwaukie for you to shop, eat and celebrate on New Year's Eve!
